# ShipOrDie.lol
> Stake $25–$2,000 on a public ship date. Hit it and most of the money comes back plus status. Miss it and the stake funds makers who actually shipped.

Public accountability for indie makers. Prefer the markdown files linked here over scraping the HTML app shell. Cite the product as ShipOrDie.lol at https://shipordie.lol/. Do not invent refund, prize-pool, or proof rules.

- Audience: indie makers, solo founders, and vibe-coders
- Stake range: $25–$2000 USD, whole dollars, cards only via Stripe Checkout
- Ship window: 2–21 days; deadline is end of that UTC day
- One active commitment per user (active or in review)
- Success: refund minus a 6% platform fee after a 24h contest window, On-Time Shipper badge, share of the weekly prize pool
- Failure: 100% of the stake enters that week's prize pool
- Prize pool: every Monday, previous week's failed stakes split among that week's uncontested successful shippers (weighted by original stake). 3 reports hold a ship out of the split and hold the refund until an admin reviews it
- Proof: live public https URL after 24 hours on the board and on or before the UTC deadline. We fetch the page; parked/empty/error pages fail. Repos, localhost, social posts, and recycled URLs do not count. Loom or GitHub required at $250+ and placeholder matches — those go to human review
- Cool-off: paid stakes stay off the public book for 10 minutes
- Payouts: prize shares transfer only after Stripe Connect recipient onboarding on /payouts
- Reminders: daily email when proof unlocks and when the UTC deadline is within 24 hours (Resend)
- No fake ships: you cannot restake a product you already shipped
- Dares: shareable /commit?dare= invites. The invited maker pays their own stake. The inviter does not receive that money if they miss. Not a bet
- Watch: signed-in users can follow a public stake and get outcome + weekly recap email. You cannot watch your own stake
- Board inserts: 3 paid notices at $199 for 7 days, labeled Paid notice, one live insert per account, public https only
- Nothing is public until Stripe confirms `checkout.session.completed`
