About

A public book for people who ship — and put money on the date. A weekly league you can dare someone into.

ShipOrDie.lol is a weekly public shipping league for indie makers and vibe-coders. You commit to ship a product by a date, and you put real money on that date.

If you ship, you get the stake back (minus a small cut), a permanent On-Time badge, and a slice of the week's prize pool. If you miss, the money is gone — it funds the people who actually shipped.

The product is the week: a countdown the internet can watch, a number big enough to hurt, and a Monday split of the unshipped. Friends can dare you onto the board. That is an invite, not a bet.

Who it is for

Solo founders and indie makers who want a deadline that cannot be quietly deleted. If a calendar reminder is enough, this is not for you. It is not a freelance marketplace, not a launch calendar, and not a paper-promise tracker.

Already know another tool?

StickK, Beeminder, ShipIt, and the Ship or Die Discord are different jobs. If search sent you here from one of those names, read the difference, then stake or leave.

Questions people and agents ask

What is ShipOrDie.lol?

ShipOrDie.lol is a weekly public shipping league for indie makers. You put real money on a ship date. If you ship on time you get most of the stake back, an On-Time Shipper badge, and a share of that week's prize pool. If you miss, the full stake funds people who actually shipped. Friends can dare you onto the board. That is an invite, not a bet.

Who is ShipOrDie for?

Solo founders, vibe-coders, and indie makers who want a public deadline with real money on the line. It is not a freelance marketplace, not a launch calendar, and not a paper-promise tracker.

Can I dare someone onto the board?

Yes. A dare is a shareable /commit?dare= link that prefills a product, date, and suggested stake. They pay their own stake through Stripe. You do not receive their money if they miss.

Is a dare a bet?

No. A dare is an invitation to enter the same product. Prize-pool shares go only to that week's uncontested on-time shippers, never to the person who sent the dare. We are not a gambling operator.
