ShipIt is a public deadline. This puts money on that date.
ShipIt is the closest neighbor: public launch dates for indie hackers, a graveyard when you miss, optional skin in the game. The jobs overlap. The money and the proof do not.
ShipIt makes quitting visible. ShipOrDie.lol makes quitting expensive for you and useful to whoever actually shipped that week. ShipIt ↗

Pick this board
Use this board when the stake has to be real and the proof has to be a live site. $25–$2000, cards via Stripe, 2–21 days. We fetch the URL. Missed stakes are not kept as platform loot — they become that Monday's prize pool for uncontested on-time shippers.
Pick ShipIt
Use ShipIt when you want a free public deadline, GitHub-tracked streaks, and a graveyard that can be handed off or sold. Their optional stake is small and, if you miss, they keep it. Different ledger.
If you already want a public indie-hacker deadline and you want real money on it, yes. ShipIt can stay free. This board does not: you pay $25–$2000 before the name is public.
What happens to a missed stake on ShipIt vs here?
On ShipIt, an optional stake you lose is kept by that product. On ShipOrDie.lol a missed stake is 100% of what you paid, and it is split among that week's uncontested successful shippers. The platform fee is on successful refunds, not on harvesting misses.
Does ShipOrDie have a graveyard marketplace?
No. A dead stake is a dead stake. You cannot quietly restake a product you already shipped. You can dare someone else onto the board; they pay their own money. That is an invite, not a sale of your corpse.
Can I list the same project on both?
You can announce wherever you want. Proof here is still a live URL we fetch, on or before the UTC deadline, after the stake has been live long enough. Their GitHub streak is not our proof.
